As AES Argentina President and CEO, Martín Genesio works to accelerate the future of energy at each of our businesses in the country. He has more than 16 years of experience in the Argentine and regional energy sector. Martín joined AES in 2006 as the Commercial Manager and later General Manager at Termonades, before moving to support all AES Argentina businesses as General Director of Operation.

Prior to joining Termoandes, Martín worked with EDF Global Solutions as the International Sales Manager International and with the regional firm Mercados Energéticos Consultores as the Manager for LATAM and the Caribbean.

Genesio graduated from the National Technological University of the Argentine Republic as an Electronics Engineer. He has since continued his education with a specialization in the electricity and natural gas market at the Technological Institute of Buenos Aires (ITBA), an Executive MBA at the IAE graduate school of the Austral University, a certification in Management at the Darden Business School of the University of Virginia and graduate studies at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business.
