Over the past few years, Rubén has helped accelerate the diversification of AES Argentina’s portfolio of assets, investing in the construction of two wind projects of 100 MW each in the provinces of Buenos Aires and Neuquén. Zaia’s deep knowledge of all phases of development and nuanced permitting processes enables him to successfully deliver greener energy projects in the country. Currently, he is focused on green development efforts for renewable projects to continue accelerating the future of energy in Argentina.

Before joining AES Argentina, Rubén worked for EDF, Alstom T&D and ABB. He graduated from the National Technological University as an Electrical Engineer.
