Women in Energy

AES Argentina promotes inclusion inside and outside of company. The team developed an initiative that aims to promote the professional development of women in the energy industry and achieve an inclusive work environment. This action is in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal of “achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls”.

To promote gender equality in the organization, AES Argentina hired women to work in various technical, operational and administrative roles during the different construction and operation stages. This is part of the successful “Mujeres Con Energía” campaign that was implemented in the region to hire women across the operations and maintenance. Today, AES Argentina has women in both technical and administrative areas, from entry-level positions to management.
